The Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA), Accessibility Standard for Customer Service (ASCS) and the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation (IASR) requires that all OPS members, volunteers and third party contractors providing goods and services to members of the public on behalf of the Ottawa Police Service, as well as those who develop policies, practices and procedures governing the provision of goods or services to members of the public or other third parties receive accessibility training.
By clicking the "Confirmation of Service," the Contractor confirms that all staff and subcontractors providing goods and services to members of the public on behalf of the Ottawa Police Service, as well as those who develop policies, practices and procedures governing the provision of goods or services to members of the public or other third parties on behalf of the Ottawa Police Service have received training on the Ontario Human Rights Code, as it pertains to persons with disabilities, and Ontario Regulation 429/07 – Accessible Standards for Customer Service of the AODA, and Ontario Regulation 191/11 – Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation of the AODA.
The training requirements can be fulfilled by completing the following e-learning training.
